Property Transfers

Are you considering purchasing or selling a property on Rattlesnake Island?  We'd like to make sure your transaction goes through smoothly for you whether you are buying your new island property, or selling and moving away.  There are some basic requirements from Rattlesnake Island Association that need to be met to make sure the property transaction goes through without a problem.  

Your real estate agent should manage this process for you.  If you are using one of the lakes region real estate agents, they typically know what is needed for a successful transaction.  If you aren't, here are the steps below to complete your property transfer. Only one form is needed for the transfer.

Buyer: 

  1. Please make sure the 'Waiver of Right of First Refusal' is signed by our Duly Authorized Director.  You can submit this form to Bob Moores at Mooresb@hitechinc.com. 
  2. Parking Passes:
    1. Each lot is assigned 4 parking passes (2 Upper, 2 Lower).  These should be transferred as part of the property transfer.  (There is a $50 replacement for each pass)
    2. The seller will not transfer Trailer Passes or Keys.  You can get those through RIA after closing.  
  3. When the property transfer is complete:
    1. Notify the Duly Authorized Director of the completed transfer so we know the transaction is complete. 
    2. Contact the association through the contact page to have you added to our database and website.

Seller: 

  1. Please make sure the 'Waiver of Right of First Refusal' is signed by our Duly Authorized Director.  You can submit this form to Bob Moores at Mooresb@hitechinc.com. 
  2. Please transfer any Parking Passes to purchasers. All Keys and Trailer Passes must be returned to RIA.  
  3. Please send Keys and Trailer Passess to Rattlesnake Island Association, c/o High Tech Machinist Inc., 177 Riverneck Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824.
